Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the HEX Platform. By registering and taking any action on the Platform, you confirm that you have read these Terms in full and accept them entirely. If any provision is unclear or unacceptable to you, you should stop using the Platform.
1Definitions
1.1.Platform: the HEX website and the related software, server and network infrastructure, databases, software modules, algorithms and interfaces through which the User is provided with the functionality described herein.
1.2.Operator: the person who owns the Platform and ensures its operation. The contact for any requests is given in the "Contacts" section.
1.3.Account: the User's account on the Platform, created when signing in through Steam.
1.4.Internal balance: an accounting measure of notional units (HEXCOIN) reflecting the volume of in-game actions available to the User. HEXCOIN are not money, electronic money, currency, a security or any other financial instrument.
1.5.Item: a virtual in-game object displayed in the Account inventory.
1.6.Game operation: opening a case, an upgrade, a contract, selling an item for HEXCOIN, as well as any other game mode of the Platform, including one introduced after the publication of this version.
1.7.Technical error: a disruption of the normal operation of the Platform, confirmed by the Operator on the basis of server data, that resulted in a duplicated operation, an incorrect debit or credit, or a distorted result. A result that does not meet the User's expectations, the absence of an expected gain or a change in the market value of an item does not in itself constitute a technical error.
2Who may use the Platform
2.1.Using the Platform, registering an Account, topping up the balance and performing game operations are permitted only to individuals who are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.
2.2.If the law applicable to a User sets an age higher than 18 for services of this kind, that higher age is the minimum permitted age for such a User.
2.3.The User is solely responsible for making sure that the use of the Platform and of each of its specific features is permitted by the laws of the User's citizenship, residence and actual location. The Operator does not advise the User on this matter.
2.4.The Operator may set and change territorial, age, operational, transactional and other restrictions on the use of the Platform, including restrictions on individual Accounts, countries and territories, payment methods, item categories and game operations.
2.5.Each User may have one Account. Creating additional Accounts, using other people's Accounts, sharing access with third parties, and automating actions on the Platform (bots, scripts, emulators) are prohibited.
3Account and Steam sign-in
3.1.Steam sign-in is used solely for identification: the Platform receives your public identifier, nickname and avatar. The Platform does not request or receive access to the inventory, trades or any other features of your Steam account.
3.2.You are responsible for keeping access to your Steam account and to the devices you use to sign in to the Platform secure. Actions performed using valid authorization are deemed to have been performed by you.
3.3.Before confirming any operation, you must check which Steam account you are signed in with. Signing in with the wrong account does not oblige the Operator to transfer the balance, items or operation results between Accounts.
4Balance and top-ups
4.1.HEXCOIN are credited to the internal balance and can be used only within the Platform. The Operator does not accept your funds as a deposit, does not pay interest or any other income on the balance and does not provide services for holding funds.
4.2.Top-up methods, their availability, fees and limits are determined by the Operator and the payment services it engages and may change.
4.3.HEXCOIN spent on completed game operations are not refunded, except in cases of a confirmed technical error. An unspent top-up is refunded as described in the Refund Policy.
4.4.When topping up with skins, you transfer the items to a payment service, and their value is credited to your balance. Once credited, the transferred items are not returned.
4.5.A top-up with a gift code is made by entering the code in the Platform interface. The code has a face value in the currency of issue; the HEXCOIN amount is calculated at the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the day the code is activated and may differ from the amount calculated on the day it was purchased. A code can be activated once; entering an already activated code again shows the amount of the first activation and does not credit the balance again.
4.6.Gift codes are distributed through third-party marketplaces. The Operator is responsible for crediting HEXCOIN for a valid code. Questions of payment, code delivery, purchase refunds and any other disputes over the transaction with the marketplace are resolved under the rules of the marketplace where the code was purchased.
4.7.A cryptocurrency top-up is made through an engaged payment service. HEXCOIN are credited after the transfer is confirmed by the network and the payment service, at the rate fixed when the invoice was created. The Operator does not control network fees, confirmation speed or the market rate. A transfer in a different coin or network, a transfer made after the invoice has expired, or an amount different from the one stated in the invoice may not be credited automatically and is reviewed upon your request.
5Game operations, contents and probabilities
5.1.The result of each game operation is determined by the server on the basis of data fixed before you confirm the operation, and it is not reviewed after the operation is completed.
5.2.The exact drop probabilities of individual items are not displayed to you. The absence of this information may not be interpreted as establishing an equal probability of each possible result, as a promise of a certain drop frequency, as a guarantee of receiving an item of a particular category or value, or as a guarantee of any ratio between the price of a case and the value of the item received.
5.3.If the interface displays a numerical probability for a particular operation (in particular, the upgrade chance), that figure applies only to that specific operation and to the parameters formed immediately before it is confirmed. It is not a promise that the result will occur and does not determine the outcome of previous or subsequent operations.
5.4.With respect to future operations, the Operator may change case prices, the contents and characteristics of possible results, the visual design and other parameters of game mechanics. Such changes do not apply to completed operations.
5.5.The Operator may set requirements and restrictions on the items allowed for use in Upgrade, Contract and other features, as well as minimum and maximum operation values, limits and technical pauses between operations.
5.6.Before confirming an operation, you must check the selected items, their quantity, the displayed parameters and the amount to be debited. A mistaken or careless selection is not a technical error and is not grounds for cancelling a correctly completed operation.
5.7.The feed of recent wins is for information and entertainment: it shows operations of Platform users without stating the value of the items. Feed entries may not be regarded as a promise of a similar result.
5.8.Certain features of the Platform are unlocked when conditions set by the Operator are met, including reaching a total top-up amount over a calendar period. Such conditions are displayed in the interface of the relevant feature, calculated by the Platform and reset at the start of a new period. Meeting a condition gives access to the feature and is not a promise of any result from using it.
6Items and their value
6.1.The value of items on the Platform is determined by the Operator on the basis of market data and internal coefficients and may differ from the price of the same items on third-party marketplaces.
6.2.The Operator does not guarantee that an item will retain any value after you receive it, that there will be demand for it, its liquidity or the possibility of selling it later. The value and demand for items depend on market conditions and on decisions of Valve Corporation and the rights holders of the games.
7Item withdrawal
7.1.You may submit a request to withdraw an item from the Platform inventory. Withdrawal requires a confirmed Steam sign-in and a valid trade link belonging to the same Steam account.
7.2.Processing times for withdrawal requests are not guaranteed. The possibility of withdrawal depends on third-party infrastructure and rules (Steam and Valve Corporation), market conditions, the availability of the specific item, trade restrictions, hold periods and Steam Guard requirements.
7.3.If an item is not available for purchase or transfer, the Operator may offer you an alternative of equal internal value or a refund of the corresponding HEXCOIN amount to your internal balance.
7.4.The Operator may suspend the processing of a withdrawal request to carry out a review if there are signs of a breach of these Terms, fraud or a technical error. Some requests are reviewed manually, including in cases of significant withdrawal amounts over a short period.
7.5.If the review establishes a breach of these Terms, signs of fraud, the use of automated tools or a technical error of the Platform, the Operator may refuse to process the withdrawal request. In that case the item is returned to your inventory on the Platform; a refusal to withdraw is not a confiscation of the item.
7.6.To communicate about a withdrawal request, the Operator may ask you for a contact (a messenger or an email address). Providing a contact is voluntary; without it, the review may take longer.
8Bonuses and promotions
8.1.The Operator may, at its sole discretion, introduce, change and discontinue bonus programs, promo codes, cashback, free cases, personal offers and other rewards. Granting a bonus is not a separate paid service.
8.2.The rules for crediting and spending bonuses are determined by the terms of the specific offer and the technical logic of the Platform.
8.3.Using bonuses in ways they are not intended for, including creating additional Accounts, abuse and circumventing restrictions, deprives you of the right to the corresponding rewards.
8.4.Giveaways are held on the terms stated in the interface of the specific giveaway: the prize, participation conditions, minimum number of participants and the time the results are drawn. A giveaway that does not reach the stated minimum number of participants may be cancelled or extended; if it is cancelled, participants retain the right to take part in the next round.
8.5.Referral program. A user may invite another user with their code or link. The code is linked to the invited user's Account once and cannot be changed. The invited user receives a percentage bonus on their next top-up each time they enter the code before topping up, for the period shown in the interface; it does not stack with other top-up bonuses, the larger one is credited. The inviter receives a reward in HEXCOIN from the invited user's genuine top-ups made after the code was linked, in the amount and on the terms shown on the Invite friends page; a reward becomes available after the holding period shown in the interface. The reward is a Platform bonus, not income, interest or money; it is claimed to the game balance once the conditions shown in the interface are met. The Operator may change the program terms and end the program for future top-ups; a reward credited but not claimed is kept for 30 days after the program ends. Rewards are not counted and are voided for the inviter's own Accounts, for users sharing a device, browser, network or trading Steam account with the inviter, and for selling the code or sending it to people without their consent; a reward already claimed for such invitations may be deducted. A reward for a top-up that was refunded or cancelled is removed. Terms for creators and other partners are set by a separate agreement with them.
9Prohibited actions
9.1.The following is prohibited: exploiting vulnerabilities and errors of the Platform, automating actions, multi-accounting, transferring an Account to third parties, using payment instruments that do not belong to you, and any actions aimed at gaining an advantage by circumventing the intended mechanics.
9.2.If such actions are detected, the Operator may restrict access to the Account, suspend operations, cancel results obtained in breach of these Terms and refuse to withdraw items obtained in this way.
10Technical errors
10.1.If there are signs of a technical error, the Operator may suspend an unfinished operation, temporarily restrict the use of the assets related to it and carry out a review.
10.2.Based on the results of the review, the Operator may restore the position of the parties: return debited HEXCOIN, cancel an incorrect credit or execute the operation on the terms recorded in the server data.
11Liability
11.1.The Platform is provided "as is". The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the absence of errors or the availability of third-party services on which the functionality depends.
11.2.The Operator is not liable for lost profits, lost income or any other indirect losses of the User.
11.3.The Operator is not obliged to disclose source code, internal technical documentation, anti-fraud algorithms or any other restricted information.
12No affiliation with Valve
12.1.The Platform is an independent service and is not affiliated with Valve Corporation, Steam, or the developers and rights holders of the respective games, and is not sponsored or controlled by them. Counter-Strike and related marks belong to their respective rights holders.
13Changes to these Terms
13.1.The Operator may change these Terms. The current version is published on this page with its date. Continuing to use the Platform after a new version is published means that you accept it.
14Requests and disputes
14.1.All requests are sent to the support address given in the "Contacts" section. The Operator reviews requests within a reasonable time.
14.2.In a dispute over the result of a specific operation, the Operator, upon your request, checks it against the server data and informs you of the result of the check. Public access to the internal data of the result mechanics is not provided: it would also expose that data to those looking for a way to influence the operation of the Platform.
14.3.The parties will seek to settle disagreements through correspondence. A dispute not settled in this way is resolved at the Operator's location, taking into account the mandatory rules applicable to the User.
